Online Family Inter-Faith Devotional to Bring People of All Religions Together in Prayer for World Peace

New Delhi [India], July 11: An online Family Inter-Faith Devotional will be held on Saturday from 6:00 p.m. to 6:40 p.m. (IST), bringing together friends, neighbours and families from different faiths to pray for peace, unity and the well-being of humanity.
Hosted by Christine and Kazem, the devotional aims to provide an inclusive platform where people of all religions can gather in a spirit of friendship, mutual respect and spiritual reflection. The organisers said the Zoom invitation link would be shared with participants before the programme.
The event will feature prayers, devotional readings and reflections representing the universal values of love, compassion, service and peace that are common to all faith traditions. Participants from different religious and cultural backgrounds are expected to join the online gathering.
Speaking about the initiative, Christine said, “The Family Inter-Faith Devotional is founded on the belief that every religion encourages love, compassion and peace. Our gathering is an invitation to people of all faiths—and those of goodwill—to come together as one human family. In times of conflict and uncertainty, collective prayer becomes a powerful expression of hope. We pray not only for ourselves but for our neighbours, our communities and the entire world. By listening to one another with respect and praying together, we strengthen the bonds of humanity that unite us beyond religious differences.”
Kazem said, “Interfaith devotion is about building bridges, not barriers. It is an opportunity to appreciate the richness of different spiritual traditions while recognising the values we all share—kindness, justice, forgiveness and service. When people of different religions gather in peace and mutual respect, they demonstrate that harmony is possible despite diversity. We warmly welcome everyone to join us in offering prayers for world peace, understanding among communities and a future built on compassion and cooperation.”
Amit Deshmukh, Founder of MMJP Global Wellness, welcomed the initiative, saying, “In today’s interconnected world, dialogue among different faith communities is essential for promoting social harmony and emotional well-being. Programmes such as the Family Inter-Faith Devotional encourage understanding, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence. Every religion teaches humanity, compassion and service, and such gatherings remind us that these shared values are stronger than our differences.”
He added, “MMJP Global Wellness believes that peace begins within individuals and extends to families, communities and nations. Collective prayer and meaningful dialogue inspire people to work together for a healthier, more compassionate and inclusive society. We are pleased to support initiatives that foster unity and contribute to global peace.”
The organisers said they look forward to welcoming participants from all religious backgrounds and cultures to join the online devotional in a shared prayer for peace, unity and the well-being of humanity.
