Narendra Modi and Hon\u2019ble Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh yesterday visited Brands of India Pavilion by Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) at Bharat Tex 2025, New Delhi. The CMAI pavilion featured 40+ leading Apparel Brands showcasing the strength of India\u2019s domestic apparel industry. Also, CMAI has been involved in introducing 100+ MSME exhibitors in sections like Apparel &amp; Fashion, Textile &amp; Fabrics, Start-up &amp; Innovation.<\/p>\n<p>As an integral part of the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) played a pivotal role at Bharat Tex 2025, showcasing India\u2019s apparel industry strength through the Brands of India Pavilion, led insightful panel discussions and reinforcing its sustainable initiative by launching <a href=\"http:\/\/su.re\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/SU.RE&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1739962247410000&amp;usg=AOvVaw1Vxiep-CKM3oX4qq681pfm\">.RE<\/a> website in association with the United Nations; and a Sustainable Supply Chain Directory in association with Centre for Environment Education (CEE) and Global Alliance for Textile Sustainability Council (GATS). These new initiatives are expected to further foster successful collaboration between brands, manufacturers, policymakers and sustainability experts to shape a regenerative future for Indian Fashion that prioritizes people, the planet and industry resilience.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking at Bharat Tex 2025, which was held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi,<b>Hon\u2019ble Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi, stated<\/b>\u201cToday, we are the sixth largest textile exporter in the world. Our textile exports have reached three lakh crores of rupees. Now, our target is to take it to nine lakh crores of rupees by 2030.
